While many say it’s okay, many have said it’s not. These photos of a Nigerian soldier who posed by a corpse of a boko Haram fighter he killed have been making rounds on Social Media.
The picture was captioned: “Always proud to kill a militant.”
This same soldier also shared more photos decked in battle regalia.
Some say that his action was not actually bad considering the trauma soldiers pass through in the hands of Boko Haram.
However, this may be some of the situations which prompted Amnesty International’s report on war crimes committed by Nigerian soldiers in the fight against Boko Haram.
