Chelsea have been linked with Anderlecht for striker Altheksandar Mitrovic, But latest report claims that, The Blues have missed out on the Anderlecht striker, who is on his way to
join Newcastle United according to Daily Mail.
The Premier League champions were interested in adding Mitrovic to their forward ranks, but the Serbian has decided a move to the North-East is right for him.
The 20-year-old confirmed he would be leaving Anderlecht via Twitter after sending a goodbye message to the Belgian club’s
supporters.
He will join the Magpies for a fee of around £13m, and becomes manager Steve McClaren’s second big summer signing.
