WORD FOR TODAY: Avoiding Extremes

One should avoid going to extremes in one's thinking and actions. Going to extremes is a lethal poison. As it is wrong to seek simplicity and sincerity in poor clothing or a life being lived in a miserable house with a few, broken old things, so too its wrong to see sophistication, civilization and prosperity in the modern style of expensive clothes and other luxuries.

Boko Haram member speaks with BBC, says only prisoner exchange can secure the girls release

A man who described himself as a teacher/scholar inside the Boko Haram camp today July 8th spoke anonymously with Tobi Oladipo of BBC World radio service where he stated that it's only the release of their imprisoned members by the Federal Government that can make them release the over 200 Chibok girls they abducted on April 14th at the Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok.
"Yes we want the Nigerian government to release our members. As our leader Abubakar Shekau promised to the media, if today the government releases our members, tomorrow or the next day we promise you can see all of them (the girls) sure. We would release them tomorrow or the next day." he told BBC World Radio. Continue...
Seaking further, the man said the abducted girls are in good condition and are well catered for
"I am telling you a fact, they are in a state of amnesty. They don't have a problem. Some of them have belief in Islam, some of them say they would not convert to Islam but we didn't differentiate them, we treat them equally. They are healthy, feeding and all these. We didn't differentiate between them at all, why because, Allah commands us to do them equally. Some of them say they would not come back to Islam, we ask them to stay, no problem. There is no forcing in Islam but some of them not Muslims are converting to Islam but we are not differentiating them. If you see them now, you would see they don't have any problem"he said
The man also said Boko Haram attacks anyone who gives out information about them and their activities
"Under Islam, killing children and women is not accepted you understand, but if they are fighting you, then you must fight them but if they are not fighting you, then it is not accepted weather they are Muslims or non-Muslims. Do not fight them, it is not accepted but if you bomb somewhere or make arrest somewhere, it will affect them but killing children and women is not accepted" he said

'Why I hacked my lawyer father to death' - Student

Tolani Ajayi, the 21year old Redeemer University student who hacked his father to death on Tuesday July 3rd (read here), has finally spoken to reporters about what led him to kill his own dad. Speaking to journalists today at the Eleweran Police Headquarters, Abeokuta, Tolani said he attacked his father after he (the father) beat him with a stick, which he said made him very angry.
"There is no way Nigerians can help me. I am going to face my judgement. I am meant to pay for what I have done. It is not as if I am ready, it is something that is inevitable - something that is going to happen; I am just waiting for it.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. when the church would have been sleeping by then. It was anger that led me to this. There was an argument between us and I stood up to him. He beat me with a stick and bit me with his teeth repeatedly. Just the two of us were at home; my mother was in Abuja,” he said. Continue...
According to Premium Times, when asked if he was under the influence of any drugs when he attacked his father, Tolani admitted taking drugs but denied he was on drugs on the day of the murder, saying it was more spiritual.

He also said it was not planned. He said his father was the one that first went to the kitchen to get a wooden spoon which he used to hit him. Tolani then went into the kitchen, took a knife and cutlass and attacked his father.
“I tried to defend myself, then he bit me on my shoulder and I got angry. I used normal small kitchen knife then I used a cutlass to attack him. I regret the action,”
"My mother is still grieving. I have sent some people to talk to her that I am sorry. I want to give her time. I have talked to my sister. I have asked for forgiveness,” he said.
Tolani said that his family resides in Abuja while he lived at the Redeemed Church, RCCG, camp.
“My father came for a programme; then, my school was on break so I went to meet him. We were meant to go back to Abuja together then the incident happened and I am here,” he said.
Premium Times reports that Tolani was into drugs and had been caught twice by the authorities of Redeemer University. The school had set up a panel to question him on the alleged drug offence before he killed his father.

Dufil sets eye on heroic leaders through IIDA

For 6 consecutive years, Dufil Prima foods, makers of Nigeria’s no 1 noodles brand, through its laudable corporate Social Responsibility, Indomie Independence Day Heroes Award (IIDA) has relentlessly shown utmost love and appreciation to exceptional children who have in one way or the other, made extraordinary selfless sacrifices/ contributions that have been immensely impactful in the aid of others. Continue...

This noble initiative designed by the company in identifying and celebrating the unique acts of bravery of children from ages 15years and below has done well, over the years in creating a new generation of role models in following the emergence 18 IIDA awardees who other children now aspire to emulate.

In essence, the impact of the Indomie Independence Day Award initiative and the strong level of values that has since rubbed off on kids  and by extension adults alike, has been immeasurable and difficult to quantify as our the future of the society is being shaped for good in the process.

In encouraging the acts of heroism in the Nigerian child, Indomie, which is no doubt the number one noodles brand in Nigeria, with well over 70 percent brand preference by consumers seeks to make a lasting impact with this initiative recognizing and celebrating the “acts of heroism” in the Nigerian child, with ample hope that in the nearest future, the celebrated kids, will do well to greatly improve the fortunes of Nigeria immensely.

Since the inception of the Indomie Independence Day Awards (IIDA) in 2008, it has since witnessed the emergence of 18 heroes who exhibited exceptional acts of bravery & leadership worthy of celebrating. Who have all benefited with the rewarded of monetary scholarship worth of N1, 000,000(1st prize), N750,000 (2nd prize) & N500,000 (3rd prize)

As the 7th edition which is slated to take place this October is around the corner, one might then ask how these heroes come about, how are they selected, and on what basis you might ask?
Stipulated criteria have been put it place as a guide in selecting the awardees. Children within the ages of 15 years and below, have risked their lives to save others, demonstrated exceptional courage, leadership traits and skills, surely stand a great a chance.

In the 2nd quarter of the year, an Independent research team is contracted to comb the nooks and crannies of the country in search of stories of exceptional acts of bravery/ heroism, unique inspirational/ leadership skills exhibited by children within the age bracket, and stories of youngsters who have struggled to survive amidst societal challenges.

Eventually, credible panel of judges selected from all walks of life, thereby sit to deliberated on the collated stories to determine the 3 awardees that best meet the set criteria. Who will eventually be specially invited& hosted at the award ceremony along with guardians.

Looking back at the remarkable strides Dufil Prima Foods has made so far, in impacting lives through the annual award, the first edition in 2008 produced a first prize winner, 14 year old Khalil Bala from Kano State who succeeded in saving a little girl at the expense of his life by jumping into a burning, but never got lucky himself as he suffered a third degree burn.

Another courageous act was rewarded in the second edition in 2009 which saw 15year old Terkimbir Chia from Benue State presented with the first prize Award for rescuing 5 passengers alive out of the 18 passengers on board the ill fated military aircraft in 2006. Same year, 15 years old Chukwudi Ibobo was also presented the 3rd place prize for his ability to produce prototypes or toy vehicles, such as sports cars, trucks of different sizes, helicopters, caterpillars and robots of different sizes.
14 year old Mariam Umar from Gombe who was born physically challenged without arms emerged first in 2010 edition. She beat the odds of physical deformity by improvising with her feet to do everything possible that others do with their hands. So impressed were the audience that Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora presented her with additional N 1,000,000.

Ajila Wehbe, the second prize winner in the 2011 edition acted as midwife in the delivery of a baby in the middle of the night at the absence of a doctor or midwife.

Once again, preparations are now in top gear, for the 7th edition of the prestigious award, which commenced recently with the search and call for entries of deserving Nigerian heroic children.

The announcement was made by the Head of Marketing, Dufil Prima Foods, Manpreet Singh, at the national Press conference held at Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island, after taking media correspondents through a 15minutes documentary as has always been the tradition, at the cinema.
According to Singh, ““Our motivation rests firmly on the fact that a lot of kids out there do the extraordinary day by day, yet these wonderful selfless acts go uncelebrated, that is why Dufil has resolved that every year the company would not relent in its search across the nation to reward children who have exhibited unique and notable acts of bravery/ heroism, worthy of celebration”.

Also speaking at the press conference, the Public Relations and Events Manager, Dufil Prima Foods, Mr. Tope Ashiwaju stated that the last six editions of the award have been immensely successful, attracting strong commendations from various quarters across the nation. Indomie believes that in every child lies what it takes to become great, however, many brave children today live an extraordinary life without ever being recognized or celebrated”.

Spurred by this fact and the remarkable successes coupled with the lives we have touched, who have continued to be role models to other kids, Dufil is now more than motivated to make this 7th edition which is a unique number, an even more memorable one for all”.

“Indomie Independence Day Award for heroic children of Nigeria has so far recorded huge success in the last six editions producing a total of 18 winners in all who have been rewarded with scholarship prizes ranging from N1,000,000 , N750,000 and 500,000 for the first, second and third winners respectively.

Word for Today; TOLERANCE

Be so tolerant that your heart becomes wide like the ocean. Become inspired with faith and love for others. Offer a hand to those in trouble, and be concerned about everyone.

Applaud the good for their goodness, appreciate those who have believing hearts, and be kind to believers. Approach unbelievers so gently that their envy and hatred melt away. Like a Messiah, revive people with your breath.

Remember that you travel the best road and follow an Exalted Guide, upon him be peace. Be mindful that you have his guidance through the most perfect and expressive revelation. Be fair-minded and balanced in your judgment, for many people do not enjoy these blessings.

Return good for evil, and disregard discourteous treatment. An individual's character is reflected in his or her behavior. Choose tolerance, and be magnanimous toward the ill-mannered.

The most distinctive feature of a soul overflowing with faith is to love all types of love that are expressed in deeds, and to feel enmity for all deeds in which enmity is expressed. To hate everything is a sign of insanity or of infatuation with Satan.

Accept how God treats you. Make it the measure by which you treat others, so that you may represent the truth among them and be free from the fear of loneliness in either world.

Only those who do not use their reason, or who have succumbed to plain stupidity and desires of the flesh, are convinced that believing men and women might harm them. Apply to a spiritual master to stir up your heart, and fill your eyes with tears.

Judge your worth in the Creator's sight by how much space He occupies in your heart, and your worth in people's eyes by how you treat them. Do not neglect the Truth even for a moment. And yet, "be a man or woman among other men or women."

Take note of and be attentive to any behavior that causes you to love others. Then remind yourself that behaving in the same way will cause them to love you. Always behave decently, and be alert.

Do not allow your carnal self to be a referee in any contention, for it will always rule that everyone but you is sinful and unfortunate. Such a judgment, according to the word of the Most Truthful, upon him be peace, signifies your destruction. Be strict and implacable with your carnal self, and be relenting and lenient toward others.

In sum: In order to preserve your credit, honor, and love, love for the sake of the Truth, hate for the sake of the Truth, and be open-hearted toward the Truth.

Ronaldo returns to centre stage

Cristiano Ronaldo is all set for his second chance
to shine in Brazil when pointless Portugal attempt
to get their World Cup campaign back on track against
Juergen Klinsmann's United States in sultry Manaus on
Sunday.
Despite rumours swirling around the internet about the
condition of his left knee, the World Player of the Year is
expected to start the Group G encounter against an
American side chasing a win which would earn them a last
16 place.
Belgium also had injury concerns over captain Vincent
Kompany but the central defender is expected to start the
opening match of day against Russia at the Maracana in
Rio de Janeiro, which should go a long way to deciding the
winners of Group H.
South Korea, who drew with the Russians in their opener,
face off against Algeria in the other match in the group in
Porto Alegre.

Let Boko Haram deflower me and release Chibok girls —Adokiye

Since pop singer and Imo State Peace Ambassador hit
stardom, she has never ceased to be a surprise package.
She astounded her fans recently when she confided in
Showtime that she is a virgin.
At 23, looking hot and
rather willing with her
liberated personality,
her fans found it hard
to believe, but Adokiye
said it is true and that
whoever wants her
virginity should be
prepared to buy her
mother the private jet
she long promised
her.
But now it seems
Adokiye is ready to
give her coveted
virginity for free, to members of the dreaded Boko Haram if
they are ready to release the abducted Chibok girls in
exchange.
“ This is 11pm in the night and do you know what I am
thinking about? Those little girls, where they are and what
could be happening to them. It is just unfair. They are too
young. I wish I could offer myself in exchange,” she told
Showtime.
When she was reminded that the girls could be making out
time as sex slaves, the singer/actress retorted : “ They are
between 12 and15 year old girls for Christ sake. I am older
and more experienced. Even if 10 to12 men have to take me
every night, I don’t care. Just release these girls and let
them go back to their parents.”

Osaze calls Bosnia game 'hardest ever'

Peter Odemwingie has admitted that the
three points Nigeria earned against Bosnia
and Herzegovina is "one of the hardest" in
his football career.
The Stoke City man swept home the
winning goal just half an hour into the match from
Emmanuel Emenike's low cross to secure a first full points
for the African champions at the Fifa World Cup in Brazil.
It was Nigeria's first win in a World Cup match in 16 years
and it took 10 matches to achieve that. Odemwingie said he
is excited with ending that long wait.
“We have waited so long for this victory. I'm so happy for
the country, our fans, the team. It was maybe one of the
hardest three points in my career, though,” Odemwingie
told Fifa.com after the match.
Odemwingie also spoke about two key members of the
Bosnian team, Emir Spahic and goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
Spahic was a teammate of Odemwingie while he played for
Lokomotiv Moscow and Begovic is Stoke City's number
one.
“[Laughs] No, I don't think so, as saving shots from close
distance is one of the stronger sides of his [Begovic's]
game.
“He is a great guy. He knows I have a good shot and I tried
to shoot a few times today. I'm sure he is going to tell me
off when I get back to Stoke [laughs].
“I had to do it for my country but I was so happy to see him
on this stage and I exchanged shirts with him at the end of
the game," said Odemwingie about his Stoke City
teammate, Begovic.
He had this to say about the Bosnia captain, Spahic: “I was
happy to see him. We played together for about two or three
good seasons so, seeing your mates coming into this World
Cup, especially with him as a captain, I can only be proud to
say that they are my friends.
“I only told my teammates that [Spahic] is very dangerous
with his head. He is not so tall but you should be careful as
he can score with his head.”
The former Cardiff City and West Bromwich Albion striker
believes he deserved a starting place against the Dragons.
He added that he is now looking forward to the game
against Argentina on Wednesday after the hard work that
secured a win over the Europeans on Saturday.
“I earned myself a starting position and it was important to
work hard today to keep it, especially before a big game
like Argentina, which is a dream for every player to play in,”
said Odemwingie.

End times!!!: Meet The Man Who Thinks He Is Jesus Christ, Dresses like Jesus (Photo)

Inri dresses like Jesus, says his mission is to prepare the elect for the formation of the new earthly society, which will strive to fulfill the Creator's will.
He has spent 35 years preaching and has ‘hundreds of followers’ from around the world, including the UK, Britain and France, some of whom live with him at his ‘church’ compound outside Brasilia.

As ‘Jesus reborn’, he gave himself the name Inri which means - Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews' and Christo which means - Christ. More photos when you continue

But despite seeing himself as Jesus reborn, Inri refuses to celebrate Christmas saying it is just a day where 'the rich humiliate the poor'.‘It is a day when the little sons of the rich can show the gifts they received while the poor children only get a crumb,’ he said. ‘So it is a very sad day for anyone who sees things with the eyes that I see.’

Inri says he first experienced the 'revelation' that he was Christ during a religious fast in Santiago, Chile, in 1979. Since childhood he had been following a powerful voice that 'speaks in his head' but it was only on this occasion that it told him:

‘I am your Father. The God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob.’
He now runs his own church, the 'Soust' (Suprema Ordem Universal da Santmssima Trindade), located on a lush farmland outside of Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, which he calls the 'New Jerusalem'. He and his followers survive on homegrown fruit like bananas, avocados and mangos as well as a vegetable garden. There's also a chapel where Inri speaks to his followers every Saturday morning and a kennel for the dogs that guard the complex.

Critics believe he is mentally ill - an accusation he firmly denies. He said: I can be crazy but not dumb. Madness is different from dementia. It is the mother of philosophers, prophets and inventors.

Niger-Delta Named Among The World’s 10 Most Polluted Places in the World! [PHOTOS]

According to the report, the World Health Organization (the public health arm of the United Nations) has estimated that 23 percent of deaths in the developing world can be attributed to environmental factors like pollution. Besides cancer, exposure to toxic chemicals can cause acute and chronic poisoning, cognitive impairment, organ damage and respiratory problems, the report said, adding that children are most vulnerable to these impacts.
Researchers said the 10 sites were chosen based on the severity of their health risk and prioritized by their value as examples of different kinds of pollution threats around world.
Here are the 10 sites listed in the report, in alphabetical order:

Agbogbloshie, Ghana:

A boy places another piece of 'e-waste' on a burning pile of electronics in Agbogbloshie, Accra, Ghana, in 2008.
This dumpsite in the Ghanaian capital Accra is the second largest e-waste processing area in West Africa. When sheathed cables from electronics like microwaves and computers are burned to recover the copper material inside, metals can particulate in the smoke and get left behind in the soil. An estimated 40,000 people are affected by the pollution threat.

Chernobyl, Ukraine:

Bumper cars remain abandoned in the empty town of Pripyat near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on March 25, 2011 in Pripyat, Ukraine.
The world's worst nuclear disaster at Chernobyl in 1986 released 100 times more radiation than the atom bombs dropped over Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Skin lesions, respiratory ailments, infertility and birth defects affected people in contaminated areas in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine for years and the accident has been linked to more than 4,000 cases of thyroid cancer. Pollution from Chernobyl is estimated to have affected some 10 million people.

Citarum River, Indonesia:

Greenpeace activists wearing protective suits inspect toxic waste discharge from a textile factory seen in the background in Citarum river, in Dayeuhkolot district in Bandung regency, located in West Java province.
More than 500,000 people are directly affected, and up to 5 million people are indirectly impacted, by chemical pollution in the Citarum River Basin in West Java. Lead, aluminum, manganese and iron concentrations in the river are several times higher than world averages because of pollution from industrial and domestic sources.

Dzershinsk, Russia:

Itar-Tass / Landov
A major site of chemical manufacturing in Russia, Dzershinsk has high levels of pollutants like dioxins and phenol in the groundwater. Residents suffer from diseases and cancers of the eyes, lungs and kidneys and life expectancy in the city is just 47 for women and just 42 for men.

Hazaribagh, Bangladesh:

Bangladeshi tannery workers sit amidst smoke as they labour at a temporary tannery in the Hazaribagh District of Dhaka on October 6, 2012.
Tanneries using old, outdated and inefficient processing methods to make leather dump 22,000 cubic liters of toxic waste each day into the city's main river, impacting more than 160,000 people. This waste includes the cancer-causing chemical hexavalent chromium.

Kabwe, Zambia:

Blacksmith Institute
Decades of unregulated lead mining in this African city have caused serious health problems for residents of Kabwe, where more than 300,000 people are thought to be affected by pollution. In 2006, children's blood lead levels in Kabwe were found to exceed the recommended levels by five to 10 times.

Kalimantan, Indonesia:

An excavator load coal to a truck at Pit Pelican of Kaltim Prima Coal in Sangata, Kutai Timur Regency, East Kalimantan province, Indonesia, in 2007.
On the island of Borneo, Kalimantan and the surrounding areas have become contaminated with mercury because of small-scale gold mining, impacting some 225,000 people. Miners in the region use mercury in the gold extraction process, resulting in mercury emissions during the amalgamation and smelting processes.

Matanza Riachuelo, Argentina:

A man looks down over a pile of garbage along the banks of the Riachuelo River near Buenos Aires, Argentina, on July 2, 2009.
More than 15,000 industries are thought to be releasing a variety of pollutants into the Matanza River, which passes through Buenos Aires and empties into the Rio de la Plata. Contaminants include zinc, lead, copper, nickel and total chromium (a term that includes two forms of chromium), making the drinking water near the Matanza-Riachuelo river basin seriously unsafe, threating more than 20,000 people who live in the area.

Niger River Delta, Nigeria:

Smoke rises as an illegal oil refinary burns after a military chase in a windy creek near river Nun in Nigeria's oil state of Bayelsa, December 6, 2012.
An unknown number of people are impacted by the voracious petroleum industry in this densely populated part of Africa, where there were nearly 7,000 incidents involving oil spills between 1976 and 2001. The report said that about 2 million barrels of oil were being extracted from the delta every day as of last year.

Norilsk, Russia

Smoke stacks for a nickel-refinery spew sulfur dioxide into the environment July 21, 2002 in Norilsk, Russia.
Norilsk is an industrial city in Siberian Russia, where each year, nearly 500 tons each of copper and nickel oxides and 2 million tons of sulfur dioxide are released into the air. Life expectancy for factory workers in Norilsk is 10 years below the Russian average.

INCREDIBLE! MEET the 80-Yr-Old Man Has Not Taken Bath For 60 Years!

This 80 year-old man looks like a troll or maybe a creature from The Lord of the Rings. His skin is scaly, you can barely see his eyes and he smells to high heaven.
The reason for this is simple, he doesn’t have a skin disease or terrible condition: he has just refused to take a bath for sixty years.
A Reddit user posted the gallery below.
It’s Very hard to believe this is a real human being.

It’s impossible to judge others for their decisions. After all we are all different, but it’s extremely difficult to understand why Amoo lives the life he does.

"I pray that all of my artistes Grow more BIGGER than Wizkid” - Banky W.

The issues between Banky W and Wizkid have been resolved but it’s obvious there is some bad blood between the two.

In a recent interview with a Popular Nigerian radio station, Banky W has disclosed that his greatest prayer is to have artistes that will excel more than Wizkid, who is also singed to EME.

He said Wizkid never left EME and put the blame on bloggers and newspapers who just love to attract more traffic and buyers.

Read Interview Excerpts below: -

“Bad news is more interesting to people than good news and when you don’t give people bad news, they just find a way to create it just to get traffic to their website or sell their newspapers. Contrary to what was reported, Wizkid never actually left (EME). We understood that we had to restructure because he was getting bigger. He now has his imprint called, “Star Boy”, which is normal. Jay Z signed Kanye (West), who now has G.O.O.D Music. Everything is fine, Wizkid is still with the team. I am very proud of him and I pray that all of my artistes will grow as far as Wizkid and even more.”

[MUST READ] Are you in love with a unilag girl?? Read This! Very Fuuny

Characteristics of UNILAG Babes According To Their Hostels Enjoy!!!
This post was written by Leavestory

JUST JOKING OOOOOOO!!!!though some of them are not true but most of them are true
when people hear the phrase UNILAG GIRLS, some thoughts pop into their mind. Some think UNILAG girls are ari-sto’s, some think they are materialistic girls, others think of them as chop and go, some see them as parole girls, some see them as stranded girls (cuz dey like entering cars hehehe). And the list continues.
Not all these terms are true though, not all lag girls are ar-isto’s, not all of them are parole girls, but there’s two things they all have in common which is their love for money and also their love for chicken and chips.
There are 7 female hostels in UNILAG namely:
Moremi, Kofo, M.T.H, Honours, Makama, Fagunwa, Amina… So lets begin with the classification.

Makama Girls:

M.T.H Babes and Fagunwa Chicks: It is said that to get a Makama girl all you need are 2 hot meat pies and a chilled bottle of fanta and she’s all yours ……..PS: make sure the meatpies are hot and the fanta is chilled, apparently they prefer it that way.

To get a MTH and Fagunwa babe all you need is just 200 Naira suya and they are yours, if you’re feeling buoyant you can manage to buy them chicken suya instead, things like that tickle their fancy.
These three hostels are situated close to each other inside New hall (Unilag’s ghetto) thus making them neighbours. People say new hall girls don’t have class (true), some say they love to party hard (very true), some also say they are cheap (well, not so true) but we all know they ain’t classy.
Every time I go to visit someone (Girls) in new hall I’m always ashamed or scared, I’m always scared cuz new hall boys might rob me and beat the crap outa me and I’m also ashamed that some new hall girls might obtain me and share the money amongst themselves to buy suya.
Most 100 level girls stay in these 3 halls thus making them jobless, they never stay inside their hostels so it’s not unusual if you see them roaming around new hall looking for boys to buy them food and other edible trinket, for now let’s call them Ghetto Girls or Suya Girls.
Moremi Girls:
also known as chicken and chips babes, to get an audience with a moremi babe you must submit a plate of chicken and chips and the she’ll listen to you. It doesn’t necessarily mean that they will answer you it just simply means they’ll give u an audience. They prefer older men with cars and they date guys with money and mostly club boys, but we have some good girls (nerds) amongst them. Lets call Moremi girls Chicken and Chips Girls.
Honours Girls:
Australia is a county where people know about but nobody visits, that’s exactly how honours hall is. Its situated in a bushy swamp in the middle of nowhere so they barely get visitors. Most times I go there I see men with cars toasting those small girls, honours girls are boring girls with no event in their life so let’s call them Village girls or Bush Girls. And yeah Honours hall week are the best female hall week in UNILAG, yes I said it.
Amina Girls:
I’m pretty sure you have heard about aristo and runs girls in UNILAG, well 70% of the aristo and runs girl stay in amina hall, they are situated at the gate area so when the big alhaji’s and chiefs come to pick up girls the quickly branch at amina negotiate the price *coughs 50k* and they carry the girl outside school.
There was one time I was walking around amina hall in the night and I mistook it for a brothel, not that I know what a brothel looks like. Lets call amina girls ARISTOcrats , ah yes, Amina hall has one mad kissing spot outside it just right in front of the Queen Amina statue.
That’s where you’ll find the broke boys without rides kissing their babes, it’s always a pleasant sight to watch.
Kofo hall:
Also known for its Aristocracy it’s just there and random, pardon my English but they have the deadest hall week. Even if I was paid to go to their hall week I won’t go, you can NEVER catch me going to look for a girl in kofo. I’ve asked many guys what they know Kofo girls for and their replies are either “I’ve never done a Kofo girl before” or “Abeg where is Kofo Hall’ and “I don’t know”.
The reason Kofo hall is dead is cuz most girls in faculty of education stay there and as we all know girls in faculty of education are dead, no offence but we all know its true. I don’t know what to classify them under, but I know they don’t know how to throw a party.
These classifications are according to Jaja and Mariere boys, the gentlemen of Unilag and we are authorities on issues like this. If you’re the type of guy that double dates please don’t go to new hall and be cheating on them with another new hall girl cuz gist spreads there.
Find a girlfriend in Honours and another side chick in newhall, the probability of them meeting are very slim. If you have money and you know you’re ready to spend then you should date a moremi girl, they are classy and poise women who like the good things of life and also enjoy being spoiled silly.
Amina girls are not owned by Unilag boys, they belong to our oga’s at the top aka Alhaji’s and Chiefs. I have no idea who kofo girls belong to.
All in all we love Unilag girls, especially Moremi babes.
